You’re in for a good laugh at the Coliseum Theatre from Wednesday September 30th until Saturday October 3rd. Frank Vickery’s back with the Comedy Tonto Evans, nightly at 7.30 and an additional matinee at 2pm on Thursday 1st October. The comedy features Ray Tonto Evans as ex miner and country music fanatic who comes into money and wants to visit the Wild West – but his wife has other ideas. That’s Tonto Evans at the Coliseum. Are you looking to stay active this autumn? Then why not head to Aberdare Park on Thursday October 8th and help raise money for Mental Health Charities across RCT. People are being asked to walk, run, cycle or skateboard a mile, preferably in fancy dress; and the route is also suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. If you want to keep fit without going to the gym, think about walking. There’s an exciting project in Penywaun called Walking Buddies. They meet at 10 o’clock every Thursday morning outside the Community Centre for a stroll along different local routed.
