For two hours every fortnight you will be able to leave behind the mega stores and the major labels, stop drinking from the main stream, cast off your shackles and join the Peppermint Iguana Crew for free range organic grooves, grown by musicians that lovingly cultivate sounds that have textures and vibes you will not find in factory farmed plastic pop. CLINT IGUANA will be playing an eclectic mix of punk, dub, techno, space rock, world fusion, hip hop and anything else that takes his fancy. GINGER JOHN Will be mostly a slightly more refined mix of ska, soul, blues, reggae, mod, jazz and brit pop – with a bit of old skool punk for good measure.Shortly after the show a full play list will appear of the Peppermint Iguana website, with links and stuff to find out more. The website will also keep you posted as to when the shows are on.
The Peppermint Iguana Radio Show is sponsored by Rhondda Cynon Taff branch of UNISON, the union for public sector workers
